Around three years ago, Abigail was in my cohort in college for education. This meant that we spent tons of time pouring over countless assignments, but also had plenty of time to chat about life with our fellow almost teachers! I remember one of our outings (at Applebees, the land of cheap appetizers) Abigail started saying she was pretty sure Mark was going to propose soon! She was right and before I knew it, we were sitting down to chat about her upcoming wedding!

Abigail and Mark’s wedding could not have been at a more beautiful location!  Just over two years ago, Brett and I walked through the very same area, Dow Gardens, to get our bride and groom portraits, so I knew it would bring back such happy memories! Abigail and Mark had an absolutely beautiful day for their wedding! While I was expecting it to be really hot in August, it was barely 75 degrees, which was such a blessing for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony!

Their ceremony was beautiful and Mark’s reaction to Abigail walking down the aisle was so touching. I have never seen a groom so excited to see his bride and Abigail had the biggest smile on her face the whole day! Abigail and Mark are a perfect match, as they are both hilarious! However, the highlight of the day had to be when Abigail boldly announced that, “today is all about me guys!” Jokingly of course as everyone was naturally staring at how beautiful she was when we started portraits. The day was certainly all about them and their love for one another. It was a beautiful garden wedding and I’m so happy for the two of them! Abigail and Mark, I wish you a lifetime of happiness and I’m so glad I could be there to celebrate such a wonderful day with you both!
