When I went out to Arizona a two years ago for my first photography conference, I was hoping to come home with a lot of knowledge, but I didn’t expect to gain friends that have turned into family! Amanda and Mike came to visit us in Florida, and I had to get them in front of the camera for a Disney’s Port Orleans Anniversary Session. These two have been in the desert for so long, so we had to pick the perfect place with tons of trees and greenery! Disney’s Port Orleans Resort is always a favorite of mine for sessions! It truly gives that southern feel! The world moves slower there and I absolutely love it! We all will have to go back, especially now that there are Mickey shaped beignets! I mean, any excuse to eat Mickey shaped food, right?!

I just love these two! Amanda is an incredibly talented photographer and it is always so much fun to take photos for other photographers! I knew we would be friends after she said, “I love Disney!” Yes, there is nothing better than friends who love Disney! Then over these couple years, she became family! I can’t even begin to explain how much of a blessing this gal is! She is one heck of a friend, wife, and mother! I don’t know how she does it all!

These two took me out of my Disney comfort zone when they were here as we adventured to two beaches I haven’t been to yet! We finished their trip with a fun day at Disney and I’m so glad they came out to visit us! Amanda is just stunning and I love how Mike can get her to laugh so easily! I love these two so much and I’m so happy we could experience some Disney magic before the summer temperatures rolled in!
