Oh my goodness does this take me down memory lane. Kolleen lived only a few houses away from me, growing up and we had countless summer days running though the neighborhood, playing basketball, and pool parties. I even have a distinct memory of her two dogs running through their shock fence and we sprinted (which I rarely, rarely do) to catch them! We had a lot of great times and seeing her again made it all those great memories come back. Flash forward to this year where a mutual dear friend of ours got married (check out Ilove’s blog post here ).  Kolleen was a bridesmaid in the wedding and so it was perfect timing to get a maternity session in 🙂

We had a gorgeous fall day; however, it did feel really chilly because it was nearly 80 degrees the day before! We explored our hometown and found a lot of fall charm that I never noticed when I actually lived there. We even found beauty among the Hubbard squash pile, in a parking lot! Really!

It was so much fun to spend the evening with Kolleen and Ben. We were so blessed that they asked us to celebrate their baby’s arrival! We can’t wait to see him and we are so happy for you both!
