Wow! Guys, we don’t even know where to begin with this one! So we will start at the very beginning. We have known Luke for basically forever, no joke, Jenny has preschool class pictures with this guy where she is a giant over all the others who didn’t quite have their growth spurt yet. So to say it was a bit surreal to see one of our classmates who we grew up with holding twins in his arms would be an understatement! We also have known Ashton for quite a while as well! Ashton was a star of her high school’s basketball team and Jenny and Ashton often would end up guarding each other throughout middle and high school basketball! Ashton and Luke are not only super adorable together, but as parents, it was a completely heart melting experience to see how sweet and loving they are with their two girls! These little ones have some seriously awesome and hilarious parents and are so loved!

This newborn session was also quite unique and has an amazing miracle story behind it. Ashton and Luke were blessed with the news of twins and of course that comes with a lot of emotions and excitement. Their little girls were apparently so excited to meet Mom and Dad, that they decided they needed to visit early, really early! In fact, they were born at 25 weeks and so technically this newborn session was for their “one” month old photos, but they have actually been here for four months! The Sheppards have an incredible amount of support and love behind them and we all followed their journey on Facebook and it was always so encouraging to see how many prayers surrounded this family. Their little girls are now happy and healthy little sweetie pies who are certainly keeping Mom and Dad busy!

It was so much fun to spend time with this incredible family and get a glimpse as to what every day life is like with twins! We walked away in awe of these two and are convinced that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle and He certainly had a beautiful plan in mind by providing these two amazing parents with these beautiful girls! Grace and Olivia are so adorable and we are so happy we got to get a few baby cuddles in 🙂 We also had to make sure to sneak in a few Mom and Dad cuddles and get some anniversary pictures for Ashton and Luke! This family will make you smile so wide and be prepared for lots of audible “awes” when looking at these!
